Thor Long Before
When it was first announced some years ago that Chris Hemsworth was cast for the lead in the Marvel film Thor, I decided that instead of casting judgement on the film based on this choice that I would explore, personally, how I thought he fit into the picture. Being an artist I did it the most logical way I could, I drew him into the part!
I don’t mean to brag but I have to admit, I wasn’t far off in how he looks in the film. His hair has a little more body to it and hist goatee is actually a beard but all in all I feel like it was pretty close. Thor should be coming out this weekend and I encourage everyone to go see it, as I know I will! I’ve only heard good things about it.
Doctor Who: more than just a theme
I’m not sure if we’re still doing the Doctor as our theme in honor of the new series starting up but I wanted to show my contribution anyway as I am so excited for the new series starting up. Not only am I excited for the series, but I am also going to be doing some work for the Doctor Who series for IDW so this is sort of a teaser of what you can expect to see from me on the series.
I honestly believe that Doctor Who is one of the best pieces of fiction out there today and I am proud to be able to contribute to part of that mythos.

Art Nouveau Fantastic Four
To say I am a huge fan of Art Nouveau would be a lie. I am, however, a huge fan of Alphonse Mucha, and his work redefined Art Nouveau and brought an unseen level of discipline to that generation of art. I remember years ago trying to break into an exhibit of his work in Brussels because I arrived too late to actually get in. Anyway, in honor of work like his I made my first attempt at a Mucha-inspired piece. It is no comparison to the truly brilliant work of Mucha, but my vain attempt at making my work look better by using his ideas.
Late Entry to Invincible Week!
Better late than never. I hope I’m not giving a bad first impression being late on my first day! Anyway, As a big fan of Invincible, I really wanted to do a special piece and I hope everyone enjoys it. Looking at it now, my experiments didn’t provide the results I hoped for but I am happy with it none the less and hopes it meets the high watermark set by the other members of this social club:
I haven’t had much experience with the digital coloring but hopefully my next attempt will show improvement.
